Dunfermline V Stenhousemuir at East End Park - Match Preview

Moore misses Stenny test

Dunfermline will be without the suspended Jordan Moore for their home game against Stenhousemuir.

Moore was dismissed in the midweek defeat to Rangers, while Ryan Thomson is an injury doubt and Faissal El Bakhtaou has been ruled out with a hamstring problem. But Chris Kane is available after his ban.

The Pars beat Stenhousemuir 5-4 in their last meeting and manager Jim Jefferies would prefer a more straightforward win.

Jefferies said: "We were very generous that day and gave away goals that had us 3-0 and 4-2 behind.

"We have improved since then as a good performance at Rangers showed, but Stenhousemuir still need careful watching."

Stenhousemuir have promoted 16-year-old Ryan Coleman from the club's youth team as calf injuries have again ruled out the experienced duo of Bryan Hodge and Sean Higgins.

Manager Martyn Corrigan has warned his players they will be in for a tough afternoon if they are not at their best.

Corrigan said: "Dunfermline may still have a young squad, but they have got stronger throughout the season as their full-time training kicks in.

"However we can go there and win. Last week against Annan we were hopeless in the first half and great in the second.

"We need that second-half performance for the full 90 minutes."
