Kean makes his mark

Stewart Kean netted an injury-time equaliser to earn Stenhousemuir a share of the spoils in a thrilling 2-2 draw at Arbroath.

The visitors were ahead after just three minutes when Darren Smith poked home from close range after good work by Bryan Hodge.

But they were pegged back seven minutes later after Connor Birse laid the ball off for Steven Doris, who thumped it home from the edge of the penalty area.

And the Red Lichties were ahead after 51 minutes when Stuart Malcolm drilled in from close range after Paul Sheerin's free-kick was not dealt with.

They could have been further ahead just after the hour mark but for Callum Reidford who produced a fine save to deny Mark Baxter from range.

However, they could not hold out against a late wave of attacks from the Warriors as Smith picked out Kean deep into stoppage time to prod it over the line from six yards.
