Warriors on the march

Stenhousemuir closed the gap on the top two to four points with a comfortable 3-1 victory at East Fife.

The Warriors started brightly with Stephen Murray forcing Mark Ridgers to smartly tip over his strike from just inside the box.

They were ahead moments later when Andy Rodgers nodded down to Stewart Kean, who curled his eighth of the season past the diving Ridgers.

Roles were reversed after half-time when Kean teed up Rodgers to slot home his 10th of the campaign.

East Fife briefly rallied and halved the deficit with 10 minutes left as Robert Linn poked past Alistair Brown from close range.

But the visitors secured the points in the final moments, substitute Paul Quinn latching on to William Lyle's through-ball to calmly seal the win with a low finish.
