Rare success on the road for Warriors

Stenhousemuir recorded their first win in four games with a 2-1 victory at Forfar.

David Irons' side, who had won just three away games in the league this season prior to the clash, took the lead at Station Park thanks to Brown Ferguson's first goal since November.

The away team's advantage was doubled eight minutes after half-time when Stewart Kean applied an emphatic finish to Sean Fitzharris' assist to claim his 10th goal of the season.

Three minutes later, Nicky Low converted Greg Ross' right-wing cross to bring the Loons back into the game.

Dale Hilson had the best chance to level the scores after 63 minutes but he failed to force his header past Alistair Brown in the Stenhousemuir goal, as the Warriors managed to hold onto their advantage to stay fourth in the table.
