League leaders Stenhousemuir slumped to a shock defeat as Queens Park completely dominated and were good value for all three points.

Queens Park made a sprightly start to the match and were gifted the opening goal after only six minutes from their first corner of the match. Allan Trouten's corner was headed goalwards by Mark Ferry and Bryan Felvus was on hand to knock home from close range.

David Weatherston then had an excellent chance to double Queens' advantage 10 minutes later but he lifted his effort onto the roof of the net from 12 yards. The home side dominated the first half and Mike Dunlop went close on the half hour mark, smashing a 30 yard free kick wide of target.

It took until seven minutes before the break until the visitors managed to muster their first shot on goal when Tommy Sinclair blazed wide of target from 25 yards.

The league leaders were more of a threat after the break and Queens keeper David Crawford had to be alert to touch an effort from John-Paul McBride round the post.

But Queens Park grabbed their second goal of the game after 64 minutes when Steve Reilly netted from the penalty spot after Alan Trouten was brought down inside the box by Robbie Henderson.
