After last week's victory over Gretna, Peterhead travelled to Ochilview in high spirits to play a team they had already beaten twice in this season's league campaign.

This time they had to share the spoils, however, as Stenhousemur came back from a goal down to level the game with only six minutes remaining.

In the first half the home team had the better of the game and had the ball in the net twice. Both goals were chalked off, however, with the first ,a Joe Savage strike, being disallowed for a marginal offside decision.

Then Robbie Raeside headed into his own net, but the ball had just crossed the touchline first.

The best chance in the first half fell to the experienced Paul McGrillen after he pounced on a weak Raeside header back to his keeper, but he squandered the opportunity with a weak sidefoot shot.

In the second half Peterhead came out in a more positive fashion, and Scott Michie was gifted an opening but he wasted the chance and shot wide.

Graeme Stewart was unlucky not to open the scoring for the Blue Toon when his header was cleared off the line by Martin Lauchlan, but the goal was delayed for only 30 seconds. Poor defensive play gifted Michie another chance, and this time he showed composure to slot the ball into the net.

Peterhead had several chances after this, and another Graeme Stewart attempt was cleared off the line, this time by one of his own players.

With six minutes to go the Warriors equalised through Paul Murphy, who calmly placed the ball past Paul Mathers and into the net after his run to the back post was picked out by McGrillen to give the home side a deserved share of the points.
