East Fife V Stenhousemuir at Bayview Stadium - Match Preview

Naysmith adds Henderson to squad

Former Scotland defender Gary Naysmith, East Fife's interim player/manager, will include ex-Dunfermline striker Blair Henderson against visitors Stenhousemuir after he joined up with the Bayview side this week.

The former Hearts, Everton, Huddersfield and Aberdeen full-back also adds loan recruit James Thomson from Dundee however he will be without the suspended Gary Thom while Paul Willis is struggling with a foot knock.

Naysmith said: "I have enjoyed working with the players and preparing them for this game. We have work to do to climb up the table but a win over Stenhousemuir would be a terrific start.

"We will freshen things up and hope that gets us a result."

The Warriors head to Fife without Eddie Malone, who is serving a one-game suspension, with injuries ruling out a Ross Brash (foot), Darren Smith (knee) and Sean Higgins (groin).

Manager Martyn Corrigan said: "Players usually get a lift when there is a change of management and we have to be on our guard for that. We will go there and play our usual attacking style of football and hopefully pick up the win that could put us back into a play-off place.

"East Fife came to our place and played well in a 1-1 draw so I am not getting taken in by their league position.
