Stenhousemuir V Brechin at Ochilview Park - Match Preview

Mbu added to Stenny squad

Stenhousemuir have added Joe Mbu to their ranks and the on-loan Cowdenbeath defender is in line to make his debut against Brechin.

Mbu has been brought in as Ross McMillan has been ruled out for a month due to a calf injury, but there is some good news from the treatment room as Stewart Kean is available after his calf problem.

The Warriors go into the game on the back of a last-minute win over Ayr, with manager Martyn Corrigan saying: "It was a really good win and the fact that it came right at the end gives everyone a lift for this one.

"Brechin have been great under Ray McKinnon but we know that we need a win for our play-off hopes."

Midfielder Craig Molloy is ruled out with a knee injury as Brechin begin an intense schedule of 10 games in 31 days.

Defender Jonathan Brown should be available to manager Ray McKinnon despite carrying an ankle knock, with the Glebe Park boss wary of their Ochilview hosts.

McKinnon said: "Stenhousemuir are a side that can still make the play-offs and they will be targeting a win in this game as we have only played twice in seven weeks.

"They will be looking for signs of rustiness, however our players are fresh and raring to go - although we will need to bolster the numbers in coming weeks.

"We are facing a really tough run of games and it would be fantastic to begin that with a win in this game."
