Threaves Scots Cup tie off again

Threave Rovers' Scottish Cup third-round replay against Stenhousemuir will not now be played until after Christmas following another postponement.The match had been due to be played on Tuesday, but snow and deep frost have left the Meadow Park surface in Castle Douglas unplayable.

It is also highly unlikely that Annan Athletic's replay against Brechin City will go ahead on Tuesday.

A decision to call off the match at Galabank is expected on Monday.

Beith are due to play host Airdrie United in Tuesday's other Scottish Cup replay, with a 1300 GMT kick-off.

Two Scottish Premier League games are scheduled for Tuesday evening, with Celtic hosting Kilmarnock and leaders Rangers travelling to Tannadice to face Dundee United.

Hamilton Accies are hoping to play host to Hibernian in their SPL game on Wednesday.
